Maple-tree viewing of Kourankei
On November 24, We went to see Autumn leaves to Kourankei for the first time in 9 years.
Without much traffic, we arrived Kourankei at 7 am. We put the car in a parking lot and took a walk through the area while seeing the maples which turned red. This year’s autumn leaves seemed more beautiful than usual.
We took a break in the cafe close to the Asuke mansion. And we drank coffee and ate chestnuts Daihuku. Then we hiked to Mt. Iimori at an altitude of 251m.
We quickly climbed from the Koujakuji temple to the top of the Mt.Iimori. I couldn’t afford to enjoy the scenery ,which was harder to walk than I expeced.
We took a rest for a bit at the top and got off quickly at the foot of the mountain.
Then we toured the Asuke Mansion and headed to Nagoya.
We return to Nagoya after noon. And we had lunch at a tempura shop called Syougetsu on Shikemichi. Syogetsu’s tempura was cheap and very delicious.
We returned home safely at 2:00 pm.
